Blake laughed as she continued to dance with Dylan to ' we no speak americano'. He had a way of getting her to forget the stress and worries of what was going on in her life. And with your starting in a week; she was starting to feel the stess. It was up to last minute details and wrapping things up, so this was the last dress rehearsal before everything was set to kick off. However, her main male dancer had decided to get sick and now she was waiting for her management team to go find someone else to step in for today's rehearsal. It could have been one of the ther male dancers, but it had been decided that it would be best if they stuck to practicing their prospective dance roles rather than cover someone else's. It would just be best to get someone who didn't have other routines and different positions engrained into their brain. So with that, the search for Thayer had been put into effect. Ever since Thayer came to have dinner at her place with some of her family it felt like he was just easing into other aspects of her life, it was back to bein effortless to be around him. Blake collided back into Dylan's body, laughing at how uncoordinated they both were. Choreography for Blake had to be done carefully. She wasn't a great dancer but she wanted to put on a great show. Which meant a lot of her dancers doing their best to make it look like Blake could actually dance. She couldn't. When Thayer came into the room, Blake pushed her hair away from her face, catching her breath from how hard she was laughing with Dylan.
"Thanks for doing this," Blake said appreciatively. She brought her hands back down to her white dress, smoothing the fabric out over her stomach. It was starting to get warm with the black outfit underneath it and having been in it for so long. Blake walked away as a choreographer came over to teach Thayer the dance for his role in today's festivities. Blake sat down next to Derek, stealing his caprisun and took a sip as she watched Thayer. Her music was playing loudly, god she sounded annoying. But Blake narrowed her eyebrows as she watched Thayer dance. Did everything come easily for him? Blake looked back over at Derek, handing him his juice back. He probably had to bribe that from Dani. Blake bit the edge of her lip, looking over at Derek. Dylan and Derek had somehow managed to allow themselves to love someone. She sang about love and chances; but here she was scared. She was scared of how she felt for Thayer, how he could crush her heart like the others, but most of all she was scared because he above all of the others, he knew her. He knew every part of her because she had let him in, in a way that she hadn't let any of the other men. So he scared her. If he rejected her, he was the first one to reject her knowing everything about who she was and what her dreams were, what she stood for. It would be the first real rejection. And loving him meant letting go of this idea of perfection, the masquerade guy. But wouldn't loving someone imperfect be so much better? " Derek how do you know when you're ready to let go of something and try something new?" she asked quietly before looking back at Thayer. But apparently the choreographer was done with him already because he was beckoning Blake to come over to them.
