James Roscoe Sawyer or Sawyer as his friends call him, step out of his car. The valet came around to take his pickup truck, he was a country boy living in a city. At least the truck was not some old beat up blue truck with mud on the sides. It was a new black 2013 dodge ram so the people standing at the restaurant could only stare at him because of his cowboy boots and the fact that he was singer. Sawyer wasn't well known yet but he was getting there slowly. He walked around the truck until he came to the door, it was pretty impressive inside. Sawyer walked up towards where the Matradee stood, the woman wore her hair in a updo and had a black blazer and skirt. This place was incredible he would have to remember to thank his friend Zach about mentioning this place, he up though that Zach's girlfriend picked a nice woman and not one of those crazy city woman. He was guided to a table in the corner by a window it was a good view of the park nearby, so at least the corner spot made up for in views. Sawyer placed his hands on the table waiting for his blind date to arrive and he was nervous as hell. tagged: SCARLET JASMINE BROOKS

Scarlet smiled down at her phone, finishing up a facetime session with her brother. He didn’t seem to find the point in her going on a ‘blind date’. In fact, he had insisted to her a few times that if she was looking to date a musician, that she should just come to the label he was signed at and meet a few people. But going out and meeting new people was the point of being twenty-two. Besides, she had no serious relationships to her resume. And as awkward as it was, being a Victoria Secret model, she had no experience to her resume either. If she met someone at a label, they would assume that it was just for a casual fling and that wasn’t something she was interested in. “Thank you,” she said, finally noticing that the car had come to a stop. She put her cell phone away, reminding herself that she needed to eventually learn how to drive so she could get her own license instead of being driven around everywhere. As she made her way inside, she was escorted to where the table was. She knew he was handsome; having done a little research once she found out who it was. But seeing someone in person was always make or break on how attractive they were. Scarlet smiled as she made her way to the table, hoping her South African accent wouldn’t creep up and be more bold. It always came out so much more prominent when she felt nervous. “ I’m so sorry I’m late,” she said before giving a slightly embarrassed smile. “ I hope you haven’t been waiting terribly long,” she said, doing her best to try and speak clearly. Sawyer order a glass water to keep his mind busy plus his throat was dry. His eyes wandered towards the front door every so often trying to get a glimpse at his date before she came in. But he had no idea what his blind date looked like. Sawyer ran his finger across the water glass. He looked up once he heard a female voice. "No, it's fine." His southern accent came out. His mama taught him to be a gentleman towards woman. So he sat up quickly pulled out her chair for her. His hand rested on the back of her chair. "Just glad you didn't run for the hills once you saw me." He joked.

Scarlet smiled as the handsome man across from her stood up to pull her chair out for her. Well, that was polite. Usually men around here just stood up when you came to a table. His southern appeal must actually be real and not just a charming quirk for his budding career. “ I don’t think you get many women running for the hills,” she said with a quiet laugh as she adjusted herself in her seat. Scarlet took in a deep breath, brushing her hair from her face before she looked back up at him and smiled. ‘ A country singer and a South African lingerie model walk into a restaurant…” she said jokingly before shaking her head. “ It seems like an odd pairing, yeah?” she said, maintaining her smile. When the waiter came back, since she had joined the table, she smiled politely before placing her drink order, “ May I please just have a double Jack Daniels diet, please?” she questioned, re-crossing her legs as she let James place whatever drink order he wanted. Once he left, Scarlet looked back at him. Her younger brother tried to stay on top of the music industry since it was his career, at least more so than she did. “ So my younger brother Joel tells me that you’re quite talented,” she bit the edge of her lip before adding, “ I mean it wasn’t really in his place I’m sure to tell me how handsome you are,”
